2002 - The First Store

John, not yet thirty, co-founds his first flooring business. It grows to seven or eight stores before a dierence in values sends him out on his own.

2002 - Victorian Designer Floors is Born

John launches Victorian Designer Floors, determined to do flooring his way: better sourcing, better service, no shortcuts.

2013 - Going Direct

John travels to China alone, no translator, to build direct supplier relationships from scratch. He comes home with his own product ranges and a level of technical authority most flooring retailers never bother to chase.

2026 - Timtek™ Opens

Two decades of expertise, and a genuinely family-run business with Vanessa and Danny now firmly part of it, come together in one flagship showroom built for the next chapter.
